Archery? Axe throwing? Why pick one when you can do both?
Situated in beautiful surroundings in rural North Wales, our open field archery and axe throwing sessions will have you channelling your inner Robin Hood or Viking in no time.
Hone your archery skills on our ranged targets then huck axes at logs. The Bearded Men staff will give you all the training you need, and throw in a few tips and tricks to help you get those bullseyes.
Pit your skills against each other in our fun games, or team up for some group competition and challenges. War cries are actively encouraged.
If you want to make a day of it, pair archery and axe throwing with one of our other half-day activities for an unforgettable day out with family or friends. Archery and axe throwing is also a popular evening activity with our custom outdoor adventure stag and hen dos.
Travel & Transport
Our archery and axe throwing sessions take place at the Bearded Men Adventures HUB, just 4 minutes drive from Llangollen, next to Wenffrwd Nature Reserve and Llandyn Caravan & Camping. We’ll meet you there. There’s loads of space to park.
Alternative transport can be arranged upon request.
Equipment
We supply everything you need for a fun archery and axe throwing session: bows, arrows, axes, and of course, targets to aim for. We also provide optional arm guards for archery.
Our equipment is well maintained and frequently safety checked.
Bring a thick jumper or hoodie to protect your arm when firing arrows in archery as the string can tend to catch the forearm on return. We do supply arm guards but some extra padding may help that little bit more.
Visualising your target can really help your aim. We accept any printed photos you may want to use when letting out that inner rage, in a humorous manner of course.
