A Scottish wilderness canoe adventure you will never forget. This four-day wilderness experience will leave you with memories and stories that will last a lifetime.

Every trip will be personally adapted to the group’s specific needs. Allowing your trip to have a unique and fresh approach. This is the perfect trip for you to share an unforgettable experience with your friends. We take group bookings for stag, hens and birthdays or single bookings on selected dates.

What to expect on this Scottish wilderness canoe adventure

After a tour of the famous Oban Scotch whisky distillery. You will spend four-days and three-nights exploring Loch Awe and its surroundings.

This is an unforgettable trip (assuming you don’t overdo the whisky…). Allowing you to discover a magical location in the best possible way. Enjoy the freedom of exploring the many inlets and beaches on the aptly-named Loch Awe. We will teach you how to deftly handle your canoe using your paddle, as well as skillfully harnessing the elements by using a canoe sail. 

For the more adventurous, wild swimming is always available.

Off the water, you will become a master at wild camping, whether that be on the loch-side beaches or in the dense Scottish woodland. You will light and maintain your own fire before we prepare, fillet and roast wild salmon and venison over the flames. Preparation and cooking methods will be survival-style, so be ready to learn all the requirements of food preparation in the wild. Vegetarian/vegan alternatives and cooking methods are available.

As the evening progresses, relax and enjoy playing outdoor games, telling tales around the campfire and whisky-tasting (including our legendary Mike Robinson whisky-tasting game).

Fitness Level
This is the easiest of our adventures, but still with its challenges. You will be canoeing for at least 6-hours a day, with changeable conditions. We will be in the elements for four days.

You must be aged 16 or over to attend this expedition, Anybody under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.


All the food we will provide over the week we will accommodate any dietary requirements just let us know.

Travel and transport

You can meet us at your accommodation where we will pick you up or we can pick you up at the local train station just let us know.

Arrivals and Departures
You will be expected to find your own means of travel to Inverness Airport or train station on the selected dates and arrive there by 11 am. There will be arranged transport for the rest of the journey, to and from the destination.


We will provide all the necessary equipment you will need to keep you safe and warm on throughout the week. However, we will provide a detailed equipment list for items you will need to bring.
