Hold on tight for an epic white water rafting adventure on the River Dee in Llangollen, North Wales!
White Water Rafting in Llangollen is a focus point for the town’s ever-growing adventure roster. We will take you on the famous river Dee and down the epic rapids, including Serpents Tail and Town Falls. Along the way, our experienced guides will make you feel safe and are committed to showing you a great time. This adrenaline experience is atop the to-do list among the adventurous playground of North Wales.

With our high-end quality equipment and training, be assured you are in very capable hands. We will teach you paddling skills and show you how to negotiate your way down the river safely. With a few raft games and challenges along the way, this experience will not disappoint. Be ready to hold on tight as we bounce through the whitewater waves, surf holes, and maybe even introduce you to a raft flip or two, safely of course. Travel & Transport
Our white water rafting trips start from the Bearded Men Adventures HUB, just 4 minutes drive from Llangollen, next to Wenffrwd Nature Reserve and Llandyn Caravan & Camping. We’ll meet you there. There’s loads of space to park.
Equipment
We supply everything you need for an epic white water rafting adventure: wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aids and of course, the raft and paddles.
Our equipment is well maintained and frequently safety checked. You are in great hands. You just need to bring suitable robust footwear (No beach or aqua shoes), swimwear and a towel.
Groups of Less Than 6
If your group has 5 or fewer people, we cannot guarantee that you’ll be placed on the same raft. Our rafts can accommodate up to 30 people, and we organize them into groups of 6 to ensure a balanced and safe experience.
If your group hasn’t booked an entire raft or isn’t a multiple of 6, you may be split up when joining a public tour. However, we will never split a group that includes children. Groups consisting only of adults are more likely to be divided across rafts.
While we strive to keep groups together whenever possible, the final arrangement depends on the overall group size and the need to divide participants into groups of 6.
