Enjoy a fun-filled day of river tubing and whitewater thrills on the River Dee in North Wales!
River Tubing in North Wales is one of our most popular activities. We will take you and your friends on this unique adventure down the River Dee, where we tackle the exciting rapids and whitewater waves along the way.
This is an adrenaline-fuelled activity that is perfect for stag or hen parties and an amazing day out for family and friends. These tubes are powered by the river’s flow and steered by pure arm strength, so be sure to bring those guns along.

The River Dee which runs through the heart of Llangollen is a hub for paddle sports fanatics. Once on the water and after some proving that you can float, we will head down the twisting and winding rapids. There are three major rapids on our route to which our guides will be on hand to steer you through.
The most famous of rapids is Serpent’s Tail, a tick-off for most aspiring white water enthusiasts. With many fun challenges along the way, our charismatic staff, smiles are never absent by the end of your trip. Travel & Transport
- Our river tubing trips start from the Bearded Men Adventures HUB, just 4 minutes drive from Llangollen, next to Wenffrwd Nature Reserve and Llandyn Caravan & Camping. We’ll meet you there. There’s loads of space to park.
Equipment
- We supply everything you need for an epic white water river tubing adventure: wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aids and of course, the tubes themselves.
- Our equipment is well maintained and frequently safety checked. You are in great hands. You just need to bring suitable robust footwear, swimwear and a towel.

Be sure to bring the gun show along to a river tubing session with BMA. You will have to negotiate your way down the mighty River Dee which runs through the heart of Llangollen and paddle your tube to certain areas along the way.
